What we do

We advance the rights, participation, dignity and economic and social inclusion of persons with disabilities — as active participants in decisions that affect their lives, not merely recipients of services. Working with communities, government, civil society, development partners and OPDs, our work is organised around seven thematic areas.

Inclusive Education

Equitable access to quality, inclusive and accessible education for learners with disabilities.

Inclusive Service Delivery & Social Accountability

Accessible, responsive and accountable public services that meet the needs of all citizens.

Climate Action, Resilience & Disability Inclusion

Making climate action, disaster preparedness and early warning disability-inclusive.

Governance, Civic Participation & Legislative Advocacy

Moving persons with disabilities from passive beneficiaries to active citizens and decision-makers.

Electoral Inclusion & Democratic Participation

Full, independent participation in elections — as voters, candidates, observers and civic actors.

Community Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment

Skills, enterprise, financial inclusion and markets for dignified, sustainable livelihoods.

Talent Development, Sports, Arts & Social Inclusion

Platforms for persons with disabilities to discover, develop and showcase their talents.

Our approach

Rights-based, participatory and disability-inclusive. Persons with disabilities and their organisations help design, implement and monitor everything we do — because sustainable inclusion means removing barriers, changing attitudes, strengthening systems and creating opportunities.

Nothing About Us Without Us.
